My Mom and I

I've noticed that my mom and I are a lot alike. we look alike and have similar tastes and even similar attitudes although most people would say that thats not a good thing. I think that we have a lot in common because I'm interested in the same things that she was when my mom was a teenager. We both like to perform and create visual masterpieces which enable us to wow and surprise others. i wanna be like my mom when i grow up.

Research, Research, Research

So... blog number two. I've been gathering information about my mom ( in a non-creepy way) and I learned some interesting things. My mom used to be a singer and a rapper before she gave birth to me. She said it was not a career she could pursue with a child, (no hint of bitterness, I hope). Apparently she's met some stars and she has her own record. I've actually seen it though her lyrics were pretty explicit. I never thought my mom was that hardcore at 16, but then again, you never know who people are these days.

Okay..how to start

So, I've never done a blog before so I'm not sure how to write things. Should I rant and just talk about what comes to mind or pretend that this is a paper I'm trying to write. I' guess I'm ranting anyway. So (lets try this one more time) I decided to do my research paper on my mom and the impact she has had on my life and my choices. I might occasionally post videos or pictures so that you will get a feel for why i chose my mom for this paper. i didn't choose her because i thought that she would be an easy topic and i already knew her. If anything it might be harder to provide evidence of the reasons she my role model because there are biographies about my mom (none that i know of). I chose her because she truly is my role model and as cliched as it sounds i want to be like her when i get older.
